Is Rita Ora's Cleavage Too Much?
How much cleavage is too much?
Rita Ora has brought that into after appearing on BBC1's The One Show to promote her role as judge on The Voice this season.
The One Show is broadcast in a 7pm timeslot and it seems some people were very sensitive to the issue.
Donning a cleavage bearing white suit for the appearance, it seems not all of the program's viewers were impressed.
Almost 400 people complained about her provocative outfit, although she also had a number of loyal followers standing up for her choice of fashion.
The early evening progam, hosted by Matt Baker and Alex Jones, responded to the complaints on its Facebook page, saying: "We're sorry to those of you who were offended by Rita Ora's choice of outfit on yesterday's show. If we had been consulted on it we would have requested she wore something more suitable for 7pm."
But many viewers logged on to the page to complain about the complainers.
One of them, Dougie Knight, said: "Grow up Rita looked stunning! BBC gone PC mad!!"
Tim Worrall, said: "Looks ok to me ... there's worse things going on in the world to complain about than Rita's outfit."
A BBC spokesman said: "The One Show allows guests to choose their own attire and pop stars often opt for something glamorous or striking.
We didn't feel that Rita's outfit would be outside of most viewers' expectations but we appreciate that tastes vary."
What do you think? Was it too much for 7pm or is her outfit merely a choice of self expression and tame in comparison to what else is on television these days?
