Delta Goodrem Threatened To Leave ‘The Voice’ After Bullying
Delta Goodrem has been on The Voice since it started, but viewers should be thankful they can see her smiling face this season..
The new issue of Woman's Day is reporting that Delta QUIT the show just before Christmas and even stormed out of the blind auditions for this season.
The magazine claims that ''bullying'' drove Delta to resign from the show, pointing the finger at fellow judges Jessie J and Joel and Benji Madden.
It is rumoured that Delta only agreed to stay on the show, following a new deal being offered with the Nine Network, worth $2million, way more than her previous $800,000 deal.
Nine were also said to been hunting for her replacement but after failing to secure a big enough name, came back around to the Aussie superstar.
A source said ''Shine and Nine executives had no choice to go cap in and hand to Delta and go into emergency negotiations.''
Within those negotiations it said that it was agreed that Jessie J and the Maddens would ''calm down on their criticisms of her on set.''
Well, if the first few episodes are to go by, the contestants are warming to Delta more than ever this season!
