INCREDIBLE News For ‘Making A Murderer’s’ Steven Avery!
Steven Avery’s infamy is something he may never have asked for - but thanks to his peculiar story, he’s known by people all over the world.
If you’re a ‘Making A Murderer’ fan you’ll have a set opinion about Steven Avery’s guilt or innocence.
You’ll also be pretty invested in his story, either feeling sorry for him and the time he’s had to waste in jail as an innocent man, or condemn him for his terrible alleged crime.
However, Steven Avery is in the headlines again this week, as he’s found love with his girlfriend of eight months, Las Vegas legal secretary, Lynn Hartman.
53-year-old Avery has proposed to his lady love quite soon, but according to his attorney, Kathleen Zellner, he’s over the moon.
“Steven deserves every bit of happiness that comes his way,” Kathleen told PEOPLE. “He is very much in love and happy with Lynn so we are happy for them.”
The pair allegedly started by sending each other letters, then talking over the phone before meeting in person only the one time, a week before they became engaged, when Lynn secretly visited him at Wisconsin’s Waupun Correctional Institute.
“I am very happy to announce that Steven Avery asked me to marry him today, and I accepted. It has been a difficult road getting to this point in our lives but we are very happy,” Lynn posted to Facebook on the official Avery/Dassey Fund group. “Despite all obstacles, and Steven’s wrongful conviction and incarceration, we plan to be married shortly after he is released.”
Steven just wants to start his life anew with Lynn by his side, he tells Daily Mail: “I’m happy, she treats me decent, she loves me, she’s kind of spoiling me right now. I just want to be happy and enjoy my life, I think I did enough time.” “She’s going to be my future wife, we’ll be laughing forever.”
