Miss USA's suggested solution to terrorism
The Miss Universe pageant is big business.
It's propelled countless contestants to global fame and success, including our own Jen Hawkins.
But Miss USA Nia Sanchez has found herself the name on everyone's lips after the weekend's pageant (but for all the wrong reasons).
Sanchez was crowned the runner up in this year's event, and it may have been her answer to the following question that relegated her to #2.
In the Q+A section of the pageant, Sanchez was asked "What message would you give to terrorists?"
"I know as Miss USA I can always spread a message of hope and love and peace," she explained. "I would do my very best to spread that message to them and everyone else in the world."
