Selena Gomez Has Made A Return To Rehab

Earlier this year, Selena Gomez revealed that she was dealing with lupus, which had played havoc with her mental health.

The 24-year-old have been receiving treatment in a facility since August 30 when she announced a career hiatus.

“Selena is dealing with lupus, but this break is to focus on her mental health,” a source close to the pop star said. “She can go to a very dark place.”

She originally checked into a rehab facility in Arizona in 2014, a year after being diagnosed with the chronic auto-immune disease.

Sources at the time said the star was “exhausted” and “broken-hearted”, and had been “partying very hard” in the months leading up to her stint in rehab. People are unsure whether her state of mind was linked to past love, Justin Bieber.

Currently she’s said to be back at a rehab facility dealing with chronic depression, anxiety and panic attacks on the outskirts of Nashville. It’s unclear when she will return to the music scene, but she has turned to her loved ones for support, recently having meals with her mother and grandparents.
