Will This Be Australia's Next Eurovision Contestant For 2016
Former X Factor winner Dami Im is the latest name rumoured to be chosen as Australia's Eurovision entrant.
Odds the Korean-Australian singer would take the mantle when it's announced on Thursday have risen after The Voice judge Delta Goodrem, confirmed it wouldn't be her.
"Not me my lovelies! I'm sure whoever is doing will be awesome and we will all get behind xx," Goodrem tweeted late Wednesday.
Other names being bandied about to represent Australia at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, include ARIA hall of fame inductee Tina Arena and even former Australian Idol finalist and drag performer Courtney Act.
The Eurovision winner in 2014, Conchita Wurst, will unveil the winner on Thursday during her one-off concert event with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Conchita: From Vienna with Love, at the Sydney Opera House.
She was giving away no clues as to who would represent Down Under, telling 2DayFM's Rove and Sam show: "The only thing I can say is the person is very good looking."
The musician chosen will follow in the footsteps of last year's entrant Guy Sebastian.
He finished fifth in Vienna last year with his song Tonight Again.
Sebastian's entry was initially touted as a one-off to celebrate Eurovision's 60th anniversary but the invite has been extended for another year at least.
Last year, Sebastian was put straight through to the final but this time Australia will have to compete in one of the two semi-finals to qualify for the final.
*The Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcast on SBS from May 13.
