The ONE Tweet You Need To See This Week

This week has been quite a week for the world.

We’ve lost a number of icons from the entertainment world this week.

First of all, it was rock iconoclast Lemmy, who passed away on December 28, just days after he was diagnosed with terminal cancer that had spread to his brain.

He had just celebrated his 70th birthday.

Next, our beloved Bowie.

Bowie didn’t make it to 70-years-old, passing away after an 18-month battle with liver cancer, which he successfully kept secret from the public.

Eerily, Bowie also died just after celebrating his birthday.

Then, it was Alan Rickman. A British screen legend who is known for his work films like Die Hard, Sense and Sensibility, Love Actually - and of course, the Harry Potter series.

That makes three icons, all tragically lost to cancer in a few short weeks.

Well, do you know what we say to that?

The simple message perfectly reflects the world’s frustration over the harsh, unrelenting issue of cancer in our society - and it says it with a dose of each of their flair, don’t you think?
