There's Some Real Bad News For Aussie Netflix Users...

Australian Netflix subscribers are about to be slugged up to an extra 20% charge on top of their current subscription cost.

The popular TV and movie streaming service changes are coming as the government begin a 10 percent tax on the service, as of July 1.

However, there will be up to another ten per-cent added on for all Australian customers.

The standard-definition plan that is Netflix’s basic pack will increase from $8.99 to $9.99 starting tomorrow, Netflix has revealed.

First-time customers who sign up to do will pay the new price, but any current customers are being given 28 days notice from Thursday.

The high-definition plan, which allows for two people to watch separate shows at the same time, will increase from $11.99 to $13.99 a month.

The high definition four-user plan will rise from $14.99 a month to $17.99.
