It was a weekend of joy, tears and laughter for the Potts family.
On Friday, terminally ill toddler Annabelle Potts arrived back in Canberra with her family after more radiation treatment in Sydney.
But it wasn’t their old house they were returning to.
What they came home to was a transformation. A whole new house and backyard, with a princess castle built just for Annabelle.
Her parents Kathie and Adam were overjoyed to see what had taken place in just a week.
Dozens of tradies, neighbours and people from all over Canberra pitched in to make it happen.
Annabelle’s family and the team at MIX 106.3 can’t thank them enough!
Here are the many businesses who volunteered time, food, materials and skills:
Annabelle and her family are back in Sydney this week for the last week of radiation and are looking into overseas clinical trials.
Let’s continue to wish them well Canberra and remind them they are loved and supported by the whole community!
