Has your dog got what it takes to cut it on the big stage?

RSPCA ACT is looking for four-legged singers, dancers and tricksters to perform for its upcoming ’12 Barks of Christmas Carols’ event on December 3.

The shelter’s holding a casting call on Saturday November 18 for all talented dogs!

Judges will pick 6 acts who’ll get to showcase their skills in-between the human musical numbers.

Perhaps they should’ve called it ‘Doggy Idol’ or ‘Pooches Got Talent?’

The ’12 Barks of Christmas Carols’ is set to be a massive event with over 1,500 people and their furry friends expected to attend.

As well as the performing pooches, there’ll also be food stalls, a Pop Inn Wine Bar, Else and Anna’s Enchanted Zone and doggie Christmas activities.

And if you want to score a pic with Canberra’s top dog, you can pop in to the Santa Paws photo booth!

So get training peeps – the casting call is fast approaching!
