CALLS FOR WITNESSES TO CONDER HIT AND RUN

The hunt’s on for the driver of a Landcruiser ute that crashed into a pedestrian in Conder on Wednesday night and took off.
Police said about 9:40pm on December 20, the ute was seen driving erratically in a northerly direction on Tharwa Drive.
Two men were walking across the Mentone View crossing when one of them was hit by the Landcruiser, which didn’t stop.
Paramedics and ACT Fire and Rescue provided medical assistance before the man was taken to hospital.
The Landcruiser is believed to be an early model light coloured ute with a back tray.
