DRUGS, CASH & RIFLES SEIZED DURING BIKIE RAIDS

Two men have been arrested after police seized rifles, drugs and cash during bikie raids in Canberra over the weekend.

On Friday October 6, officers from Taskforce Nemesis searched the home of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang associate in Banks.

Police seized a sawn-off rifle and ammunition, drugs including cannabis and MDMA tablets, prescription medication and cash suspected to be proceeds of crime.

A 25-year-old Banks man was arrested on firearm and drug charges.

On Saturday October 7, the Taskforce searched a home in Flynn, in relation to a recent burglary.

Officers seized several stolen property items including six rifles and over 1000 rounds of ammunition.

They also found drug items and other items believed to be stolen.

A 38-year-old man was arrested on firearms, drugs and stolen property charges.

He was also wanted on a first instance warrant.
