Buyers looking to snap up a house in Canberra’s north need to act quickly, as new data reveals the territory’s fastest selling suburbs.
According to realestate.com.au, McKellar takes top spot, with houses flying off the market there in just 3 weeks on average!
McKellar is closely followed by Isaacs, Charnwood, Fraser, Spence and Theodore – with houses only staying on the market there for about 22 days.
The average cost of a house in McKellar is $805,000.
Isabella Plains is also proving popular, with apartments selling on average in just 24 days.
Coming in just behind the southside suburb is Pearce, Moncrieff, Casey and Gordon.
If you’re looking at buying an apartment in Isabella Plains, it’ll cost you roughly $405,000.
In other interesting stats, demand for properties in Canberra has increased by 27% in the past year.
