JETSTAR CHARGES PARENTS TO HOLD BABY ON LAP

Flying with a young family has just got more pricey!

Jetstar’s introduced a new charge of $30 each way for parents who have under two’s sitting on their laps during domestic flights.

And it’s even more if you’re heading overseas.. you could be charged a fee of up to $50 each way!

Previously, kids under two who didn’t need a seat, could travel for free on domestic flights and on international trips between Australia and New Zealand.

BUT parents who’ve booked flights with bub on the low-cost airline before Monday this week won’t be slugged, with pre-existing bookings not affected.

It’s understood, the move was to bring the airline in line with other low-cost carriers in Australia.

What do YOU think of the new fees? Have your say at our Facebook page!
