THREDBO SNOW REPORT - AUGUST 3
We’ve had a couple of lovely sunny days here in Thredbo, with another mostly sunny morning today before a stormy change likely this afternoon.
The last few days have seen blue skies, light winds and great snow riding conditions with the groomers making some awesome corduroy across the mountain and the snowmakers blasting every night to give us a nice fresh layer of man-made snow to hit up each day.
Some of the picks this week include the beautiful groomed snow up at Antons and some of the windblown stashes up around the Basin area earlier this week, making for some unreal shredding.
The Antons Terrain Park has opened this week featuring an awesome 30 and 35ft jump and 2 rail pads – good fun for the serious shredders.
The Cruiser Terrain park is also in top shape with 15 jib and 3 jump options, along with the Easy Does It Park for those learning to jib.
All 14 lifts are now open with heaps of terrain and run options for riders of all abilities.
We are looking at an awesome weekend of snow coming up, continuing into next week, so it’s a great time to head down for a shred.
