THREDBO SNOW REPORT - SEPTEMBER 14

In Thredbo it’s a fresh snow day today – it’s the spring just keeps on giving! We’ve woken to 5cm of lovely soft powder up the top, and a solid dusting blanketing the village, we’ve got some awesome riding on the cards. Following a few days of milder weather, with some nice sun and bluebird skiing earlier this week softening the snow, the fresh snow today and cooler temperatures will be a nice change. All 14 lifts and 3 terrain parks open with something for jibbers of all levels.
Both the on and off-piste skiing is looking pretty awesome. The groomed runs are firm with a good base and a nice soft layer on top to carve up. Top picks: for the advanced, have a carve down the Supertrail or head over to the freshly groomed True Blue.
For freshies, check out the Bluff or Waimea. Intermediates, the groomed runs at the Central Spur area will have some nice skiing, especially on Exhibition, as well as over at the Cruiser area. Friday flat has had a nice top up and is nice and soft for the beginners and first-timers to learn on.
