THREDBO SNOW REPORT - SEPTEMBER 21

The spring weather has hit in Thredbo and we are absolutely loving it – beautiful sunny bluebird days, moderate winds and it’s not too cold.
Spring skiing is fantastic with all the snowfall we’ve seen over the last month, with a top up as recent as last week. Coverage is great across the mountain and the snow, while soft, has a good base and is fun for a carve. The best skiing is up the top of the mountain around Central Spur area and the Basin which doesn’t get as soft as the lower slopes in the afternoons.
Winds have brought in some nice drifty patches up the top over the last few days for the freeriders to explore. The lovely clear weather has been ideal for park riding and the three terrain parks are looking awesome - Antons park in particular is looking awesome with 5 jumps of varying heights up to 45 feet including a hip, plus 14 jibs and some sneaky bonus features for advanced riders.
Whilst we’re at the back end of the season, it’s unusual to still have so much snow at this time of year so make the most of it – there’s still a couple of weekends left.
