There’ll be more places to check out those spectacular light installations at the Enlighten Festival this year!
Over 16 days in March, Canberra will transform into a hive of activity with an extended program of events and activities.
The festival’s expanding across the lake this year, to include lighting installations at the ANU and in the city, including Petrie Plaza.
There’ll of course be the usual favourites, with stunning projections to light up some of Canberra’s iconic buildings, including the Museum of Australian Democracy, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Library and Questacon!
There’ll also be lots to see and do in the Parliamentary Triangle - showcasing Aussie talent, roving entertainers, art installations, live music and fabulous performances.
The Festival’s also been extended to include some of Canberra’s popular Autumn events, like the Balloon Spectacular, Symphony in the Park and Skyfire, to name a few!
And we mustn’t forget the bustling Enlighten Night Noodle Markets on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin, featuring some of the best street food around.
Some of the territory’s major attractions will also open their doors after dark for a range of exclusive ticketed events.
