Just imagine what you could do with a million dollars..

That’s the question one ACT shopper is pondering, after their entry won division one in last night’s Lotto draw.

The local winner was one of four division one winning entries across Australia – with each person taking home a million bucks!

The lucky Canberran took home $1,001,33.60 to be exact, after also picking up wins in other divisions.

Just to give you an idea of the enormity of that – the winner could line one million $1 coins side-by-side around Canberra’s Capital Hill more than eight times!

It’s not yet known how they’ll spend the money – with the winner choosing to remain completely anonymous.

The winning ticket was bought from Jamison Centre News in Macquarie.

The Jamison shop also sold a share in the recent division one winning syndicate, which saw 10 ACT and NSW residents walk away with a total prize of $1.717 million from the $20 Million Superdraw on September 2.

Jamison Centre News owner Graham Donovan was shocked to discover his shop had another division one winner.

“It’s very nice! That’s two in a week and a bit! It’s great. We need more of it!” he said.

“The best part is knowing that one of our customers has become an overnight millionaire.”
