Raiders lose forward to Super League

by Brent Ford

The Raiders have lost another forward with Frank-Paul Nuuausala heading to Wigan on a three and a half year deal which will take immediate affect.

It's a blow for the Raiders who lose an NRL premiership winning player, and they take a hit to their forward pack again after losing Mitchell Barnett (Newcastle) and Tevita Pangai Junior (Brisbane). They have however accounted for those losses by signing Joe Tapine and Junior Paulo who have both been in the Raiders starting side this year.

Nuuausala often divided Raiders fans, he looked strong early before a brain snap early in the season cost the Raiders a game. Following that match he's been in and out of the side, spending a lot of games with the Raiders affiliate side the Mounties.

He's expected to fly with England and start playing with Wigan as soon as his Visa application has been approved.
