SHAVE A TRADIE: FUNDRAISER TO HELP ANNABELLE POTTS
Two Canberra tradies have vowed to shave their long beards to help raise funds for Canberra’s warrior princess, Annabelle Potts.
On Sunday November 26 from 11am, Aaron Dixon and Leigh Baker will go under the razor, and if they reach their $1000 goal, they’ll also wax their chest!
Annabelle’s currently getting treatment in Mexico every 5/6 weeks for a brain tumour.
Her family has enough money for 3 more treatments, but it’s likely she will need more, with ongoing maintenance on top of that.
So once again, the Canberra community’s coming together to help raise money for this beautiful family.
It’s all happening at the McKellar Soccer Club, where there’ll also be raffles, a sausage sizzle, live music, an auction and some awesome prizes up for grabs!
Annabelle’s mum Kathie said their overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity.
“It means so much, the community coming together to help us! We absolutely would not have an opportunity to save Annabelle if it wasn’t for kind-hearted people like Nicole and Erin. It will be an amazing day.”
If you’d like to donate or buy raffle tickets, give Nicole a buzz on 0403 552 062 or Erin on 0412 999 163.
