TRADIES WORK AROUND THE CLOCK TO BUILD PRINCESS PLAYGROUND
It’s been a super busy few days for the dozens of Canberra tradies who’ve been helping build Annabelle’s Princess Playground.
The terminally ill toddler is currently undergoing radiation therapy in Sydney.
Annabelle and her family are coming home tomorrow, with all our incredible volunteers working around the clock to make sure the project is ready in time.
Project Manager from AEJ Landscaping, James O’Sullivan, praised all the workers when he spoke to Kristen and Rod on site this morning.
“They didn’t even need me here, these boys just ran away with it, they’re so professional,” he said.
Some of the tradies were there till 1:30am this morning, working away!
James also praised neighbours and other Canberrans who’ve made sure the workers get fed!
“Every day somebody calls past with cupcakes, brownies, donuts, presents for Annabelle. We’ve got our mate Angelo from the Charcoal Chicken popping in with lunches and dinners,” he said.
There’s a lot of work going on today, with everyone pitching in with jobs like fencing, landscaping, building the new pergola, painting, getting the new ensuite and Annabelle’s castle ready, the list goes on!
We are so blown away by everyone’s support.
The community has rallied together and it means the world to everyone involved, especially Annabelle’s family.
Listen to Kristen and Rod from 7am tomorrow to find out where it’s all up to!
Time is ticking.. lets get this done!
