Does the thought of making small talk with your neighbours make you cringe? Or do you love a good chat over the fence?
A national survey by realestate.com.au has helped work out where Australians sit on this issue..
It found one in three Aussies have no interest in getting to know their neighbours, with more than 15% admitting they go out of their way to avoid speaking to a neighbour.
And one in five revealed they’d previously has a dispute with someone living in their street.
In other interesting findings, 10% admit to spying on a neighbour, over one in ten has called the cops on their neighbour and 11% use their neighbour’s bin without asking.
MIX 106.3 Breakfast co-host Kristen Henry was disturbed by these findings – claiming it’s not a true reflection of how Canberrans feel about their neighbours!
So Kristen & Wilko asked listeners – do you know your neighbours?
They got some interesting calls..
