WOOLIES HEAD SHAVE TO HELP SICK KIDS
They promised – and now they’re getting ready to deliver.
Three Woolworths group managers will get their heads shaved this weekend to help raise money for Give Me 5 For Kids.
With the support of the ACT community, Woolies has already raised more than $63,000.
Now, they’re stepping that up a notch!
A commitment was made on Kristen and Rod’s Breakfast Show on June 1, if Woolies raised $50,000, the three local group managers would get their heads shaved.
Given that target has well and truly been surpassed, the date has been set for THIS Saturday!
Group managers Callum Nicholson, Craig Hermiston and Aaron Nash will lose their locks in a bid to raise upwards of $5000 for the day.
The festivities get underway from 10am outside the Woolworths at Gungahlin Marketplace, with the first shave starting at 11am.
There’ll also be face painting provided by Mollycoddle Parties and Hairhouse Warehouse are donating their time and equipment for the big shave!
In Woolworths, staff will also be selling sausage sandwiches, cold drinks and egg and bacon rolls, so you can enjoy some delicious food while helping a very worthy cause.
Around 30 Woolworths employees will also walk around the Marketplace with GM5FK money buckets, so have some loose change handy!
Make sure you get down there on Saturday and show your support!
