This is quite possibly the best news we’ve heard in a long time.

McDonald’s has partnered with UberEATS to launch McDelivery – meaning local Maccas fans can get their favourite menu items delivered to their front door!

From today, it’s available within a 10 minute delivery zone from stores in Mitchell, Dickson, Manuka Plaza, Canberra City, Braddon, Woden Westfield and Belconnen.

But there is some good news for the south-siders and other Canberrans who aren’t in the zone, with McDonald’s hoping to extend the service to other parts of the ACT in the future.

While some of the participating McDonald’s stores are open 24 hours, the delivery service won’t operate around the clock, at this stage.

“To start with we’ll be focusing on dinner, late nights and lunch, but we hope over time to be able to expand the hours of the delivery service in line with what our customers are asking for,” Market Director of McDonald’s ACT, Cameron Newlands, said.

Fancy a Big Mac or Oreo McFlurry while you watch the first episode of The Bachelor tonight from the comfort of your couch, without having to lift a finger?

Get on it Canberra!
