Weed-Infused Wine Is Now On The Market – But There’s A Catch

Marijuana infused wine is now being sold in America for the first time EVER. A new product called Canna Vine combines organic marijuana and biodynamically farmed grapes.

While this would come as good news from many, there is one catch. People wanting to get their hands on the wine will need a medical marijuana license and is also only legally available in California. A bottle will set you back anywhere from $120 to $400.

In most American states like Washington, Oregon, and Colorado it is illegal to infuse marijuana in alcohol. Californians are voting next month to decide whether to legalise marijuana for recreational use.

Singer Melissa Etheridge who survived cancer, has often spoken out about the benefits of cannabis-infused wine and has even produced her own brand called 'No Label.'

"There’s a little flush after the first sip, but then the effect is really cheery, and at the end of the night you sleep really well," she revealed.
