Reason This Instagram Model Won't Airbrush Photos Is Awesome

Instagram model Iskra Lawrence has 700k followers on the app, but doesn't really want anything to do with that life, according to her website Runway Riot.

Instagram models make their living by posting mainly retouched photos of themselves promoting products, but the fashion and beauty website Runway Riot - which Iskra helps run - is using her Insta-fame for something else.

The size-14 model was formerly told she was too big to be a straight-size model and not big enough to be plus-size.

But now she's signed to JAG models and uses Instagram as a platform to challenge beauty ideals and spread body positivity.

She wrote on one of her Instagram photos: "No retouching, because who says cellulite is a flaw."

"You won't see me promoting tea detoxs or anything that I don't actually use or wear or believe in," Iskra explains in an Instagram caption of a swimsuit photo. "I am NOT an Instagram model and do not earn a living off it. I post because I hope to grow my platform to share my experiences and hopefully help other girls that are going through what I went through."

Iskra tags her photos with body positive hashtags like #everyBODYisbeautiful and #TheRealYouIsSexy to encourage self-love to her fans.

She took a "booty-pic" and explained in the caption: "Yes this is clearly a booty pic but do you see why? Because I haven't airbrushed my tiger stripe stretch marks 🐯 or my cellulite lightening bolts ⚡️ or my back fat 🌮🍔🍕because this is my body, I love it it's real and I love posting pictures showing how confident I am because society has taught us we have 'flaws' and I'm telling you who gives a.. Because you are more than your body and you get to decide what beauty is."

Go, girl!
