Why This Beauty Blogger Never Moves Her Hands In Videos
Jordan Bone has more than 350,000 Youtube followers - you could even be one of them - and if you are, or if you've ever seen one of her videos, you'll know that she has a unique way of doing things. She doesn't move her hands much in photos, and she holds her brushes differently and even applies her eyeliner from angles that a regular person just could not master.
You see, her hand is always scrunched up.
Not surprisingly, Jordan began to see not-so-nice comments trickling into her page about what was going on her hand.
So Jordan decided to release a whole new kind of video, showing the world why she's so unique.
10 years ago, Jordan was in a car accident that left her tetraplegic, with partial or full loss in all of her limbs and torso. She is unable to do her own hair and cannot bathe herself, however she has found a way to do her make-up - perfectly, in fact.
In her video, she shares how she went through major depression and anxiety about her identity, not wanting to be only known as "the girl in the wheelchair." "There are so many struggles in my life," she says. "I mean, I can't dress myself or do my own hair, so to be able to do my own makeup is my thing."
