NZ Primary School In Lockdown After Reports Of Gunfire
Armed police have swarmed a New Zealand primary school after alleged reports of gunfire.
The Auckland primary school is currently in lockdown and parents have been informed.
Initial reports suggest shots were fired in the Glen Eden area just after 10am this morning (9am AEDT) and a heavily armed police force are now onsite.

The area has also been cordoned off from the public, with additional road closures.
Talented Tots childcare on an adjoining road have also confirmed it is in lockdown.
There is no details on how many shots were heard or if any armed suspects have been sighted on the premise.
