CIVIC TOBACCO STORE WORKER THREATENED AT KNIFEPOINT

The hunt’s on for a thief who threatened a tobacco store worker at knifepoint in Civic earlier this month.

Police said the attempted robbery happened at about 4:45pm on Tuesday January 3rd, at the Tobacco Store in Bailey’s Corner, London Circuit.

A man threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded cash.

The worker yelled out and the thief fled on foot towards London Circuit.

The offender is described as being in his mid 20’s, Caucasian and about 155cm tall.

He was wearing a white jumper with a black hood at the time.

Witnesses and anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
