Tourists Forced To JUMP Off Boat Engulfed In Flames

Tourists were forced to jump for the lives from a burning ship docked on shore in Vietnam. 

The cruise ship, Aphrodite was carrying 37 tourists when it caught fire in Ha Long Bay last Friday. 

Many aboard the three storey ship were forced to jump overboard. 

Those who jumped were swiftly plucked from the water into other boats in the harbour. 

Video footage shoes the terrifying moments passengers started flinging belongings into the water before they built the courage to jump overboard. 

It is believed there were two New Zealanders on board but Australians are yet to be confirmed. 

Aphrodite cruises have since taken to Facebook, releasing the following statement:
