WOMAN CHARGED AFTER MAN PINNED TO FENCE BY CAR ON CHRISTMAS

A 52 year old woman has been charged after a man was hit by a car and pinned against a fence in Goulburn on Christmas Day.
The alleged domestic violence incident happened around 7:30pm on December 25.
Police say a 64 year old man was walking on Valley Walk, when he was hit by a car and pinned against a fence.
Officers allege the 52 year old driver got out of the car, assaulted the man, then got back in.
A bystander stepped in and took the keys out of the ignition.
Emergency crews helped get the man out from under the car, before he was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
A short time later, police found the woman injured inside a home, where she was treated by paramedics, then taken to Goulburn Base Hospital.
About 2:45pm on Boxing Day, the woman, known to the man, was arrested at the hospital and placed under police guard.
She has since been charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, contravene domestic violence order and malicious damage.
She was granted conditional bail, to front Goulburn Local Court on February 14.
