Update: The Reid Family
Update: At the moment Hunter is still in Sydney Children's Hospital and is putting up a good fight.
Ryan has come back to Canberra to run Betta Bins and will be making the trip back and forth to see Hunter and Helen.
Hunter Neil Reid was born at the Canberra Hospital on the 11th November 2014.
Father Ryan owns his own small skip rubbish removal business in Canberra and mother Helen is an amazing Neonatal Nurse at the Canberra Hospital.
In February 2015, Ryan and Helen both felt like something was not right with their son Hunter. They took him to the Dr and were told that it was probably just a cold. Three days later Hunter was getting extremely worse and started vomiting, worried for Hunter Helen and Ryan took him to the Canberra Hospital for further investigation.
Within the space of a few hours Ryan and Helen's world started to collapse around them. Hunter had a seizure while in Helen's arms.
Nurses and Dr's started testing Hunter for every possible cause and only by process of elimination did they finally discover that Hunter had a Brain Tumour. Hunter was then placed in an induced coma and the Dr's decided to drain the fluid from around his brain to release the pressure.
The future is still unclear for Hunter and his family, however, we are doing our part to show support for this local family and help in any way we can.
We are asking for you help to support this amazing local Canberra family.
The support will go towards the Mortgage, bills and any medical expenses to help Hunter.
