Canberra's Biggest Barn Dance
With drought conditions in QLD, NSW and ACT growing worse everyday, feed is scarce, forcing many farmers to walk away, as it is becoming impossible to keep stock fed. Drought doesn’t just affect the farm itself. It’s such a bigger issue, affecting families, their livelihood and mental health and the communities they live in.
In order to raise money for drought relief, Kristen & Wilko will be hosting Canberra’s Biggest Barn Dance!
So we here-by invite your to join us at Thoroughbred Park on Saturday 18th August 2018 between 3pm and 8pm for a fun day out with the family. There will be live music, dancing, a petting zoo, rides, great food and so much more, with proceeds going to drought relief.
Entry to the Barn Dance will cost one bale of hay through the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners. The charity is about mates helping mates in a time of need, with every bale of hay purchased going directly to struggling drought-stricken farmers, to feed stock. Farmers, of course, will not have to pay entry!
Canberra’s Biggest Barn Dance, is a huge community project, to bring together Canberran’s for a great day out, all while raising money for a great cause. Kristen & Wilko will also be broadcasting live from the event, to encourage people to come down on the day and donate to a great cause! Alternatively, if you can’t make it to the event on the day, you can donate at your local Commonwealth Bank!
Canberra’s Biggest Barn Dance, will be an event built by the Canberra Community, so if you or your local businesses are willing to donate your good and services on the day, please fill out the form below and we will be in contact with you!
We are looking for all the help we can get, including:
Rides and Games for the Kids
Or anything you would find at a Country field day!
We would like to say a massive thank you to Burrumbuttock Hay Runners and Commonwealth Bank, who are making this even possible!
