The coronavirus pandemic has forced a LOT of music events to be cancelled for the over the next few months, and so some of the world’s biggest artists have come up with a replacement of sorts.
While we may not be able to go to any live concerts in arenas and stadiums for the time being as we practice social distancing and self-isolation to stop the spread of Covid-19, we can still see our fav artists perform.
People like Chris Martin, Pink and John Legend (just to name a few) have taken to their social media accounts to put on FREE performances for us all while they too self-isolate in their homes.
Yep this is taking the WFH (Work From Home) movement to the next level!
The lead singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, did a performance the other day on his Instagram Live and actually took requests from his fans on what songs to play next. Literally a dream come true!
John Legend also did something similar, going live on his insta for a one-hour performance. His also added a bit of comedy with his hilarious wife Chrissy Teigen sitting on his piano in her towel!

Social distancing is important, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. I did a little at-home performance to help lift your spirits. @Miguel, @CharliePuth – you want next? Pink has also posted a video to her Instagram account as she takes piano lessons, demonstrating her incredible skills with an Adele classic.
“Free concert slash piano lessons from my heart to yours. To make you feel my love rehearsals,” she wrote.
Aussie heartthrob Keith Urban has done the same with his “#InstaBand” posting a thirty minute long concert to Instagram with his wife Nicole Kidman helping out behind the camera.
It seems to be happening more and more with various celebs so if you’ve got a favourite artist, make sure you keep an eye out on their socials in case they do something similar!
Honestly, we think this is almost better than an actual concert… A FREE concert from the comfort of our couch at home in our PJs? Sign us the heck up for that every day!
