About the Sir George

Built in 1852, the historic venue has been restored to create a warm and relaxed space where old meets new with accommodation, restaurant, boutique bar and artisan bakery. A philosophy of simplicity and authenticity underpins all that is The Sir George – from the menu of locally sourced Riverina produce to the beer garden that feels like your own. One minute off the Hume Highway between Sydney and Melbourne, The Sir George is a place for young and old to enjoy a great coffee, a cold brew or a memorable meal by the Murrumbidgee River.
