This morning on the show the guys took a moment to be a little more serious, and talk about Captain Sir Thomas Moore, who passed away last night.

If you don’t remember who this man is, he was a WWII veteran who set out to raise £1,000 ($1,800 AUD) before his 100th birthday, for National Health Services staff during the pandemic last year. He was later knighted by The Queen after he finished up raising £33 million (approx. $60 million AUD).

After everything Sir Thomas did to help health workers last year, Nige felt it was important to pay tribute to this true hero.

Listen below to hear what he had to say.
