As the weather warms up, Canberra’s annual Sunset Cinema returns to the National Botanic Gardens.

Over the next two months much loved family-favourites like the Grinch and The Lion King will take to the big screen.

Capacity at this year’s event has been reduced to comply with coronavirus restrictions.

However, General Manager Bradley Garth said he’s relieved the event can go ahead.

“We know it’s been a long year, we’re excited to be back this summer, in a summer where you really need to get outdoors.”

Mr Garth promising a covid-safe cinema experience with plenty to enjoy.

“We’ve got a whole snack bar, we’ve got a bar on site and then we’ve also got an onsite food truck for something a little bit bigger.”
