Cam and Renee catch up with Linda Beverage from Friends of Black Mountain about what is happening this week for the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.

Something that is unique to the festival is a book that has been released to commemorate the 50th anniversary for Black Mountain to be considered a nature reserve. The book was released last year and has been a big hit with local Canberrans.

One if Linda’s favourite events is happening this weekend at the Kingston Railway Museum. The Museum is hosting an open day and is encoraging people to come and visit. The open day occurs over Saturday and Sunday and the Museum will be open from 10am to 3pm.
