The ACT has sadly recorded two COVID-19 related deaths on Monday.

A man in his 60’s and a woman in her 70’s are the latest Canberrans to succumb to the virus.

Both had been receiving intensive care in hospital prior to the their deaths.

Their passing brings the death toll of the Territory’s delta outbreak to 10.

The news comes as just 5 additional cases of COVID-19 are recorded in the ACT on Monday.

8 people with the virus are receiving care in hospital, including 3 in ICU.

More than 900 tests were processed in the past 24 hours.


92.6% of Canberrans aged 12+ are now fully vaccinated.

There are now 170 known active cases of the virus within the ACT.
