The Braddon based BentSpoke Brewing Co. has taken gold and silver on the international beer stage.

Dubbed the ‘Oscars’ of the brewing industry, the International Beer Awards in the UK saw the local brewery pick up a total of three gongs.

  • 1st place in the Smallpack ale class for their IPA Crankshaft.
  • 2nd place in the Smallpack ale class for Barley Griffin.
  • 2nd place in the strong beer class was Red Nut

Co-founder and Head Brewer, Richard Watkins said he was proud to see Canberra represented on the world stage.

“With the craft beer & cider industry growing and changing every year, it’s no easy feat to maintain podium finishes, so we’re really humbled and proud of that!”

“These awards are really good recognition for our team and our commitment to beer quality.”
