The Moderna COVID vaccine is now available in the Territory as the ‘race to vaccinate’ continues.
Distributed through local pharmacies, Chief Minister, Andrew Barr said the jab is in high supply across the ACT.
“If you jump online now you might be may be able to get a Moderna booking today.”
Canberrans aged 12 to 59 are eligible to receive the new vaccine.
As of Thursday, 82.2% of Canberrans aged 12+ have now received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine with 56.5% now fully vaccinated.
That comes as the territory records 16 new infections, none were in quarantine for their entire infectious period while 7 of the cases have links to previous infections and clusters.
