Officers have uncovered a ‘significant’ amount of cash and drugs following the search of two properties on Canberra’s northside.

Police, with assistance of the Canine unit, executed a search warrant at properties in Braddon and Bonner last week as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and supply of drugs.

During the search, police say they discovered cocaine and MDMA with an estimated street values of $70,000.

Approximately 2.5kgs of another suspected illegal drug was also found hidden inside a wall.

A machete along with 1,000 rounds of ammunition and $15,000 in cash was also picked up during the searches.

Each of the drugs, cash and weapons have been seized by police as their investigation continues.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information about the sale and supply of drugs within the ACT to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
