With the ACT in lockdown and state borders remaining closed, many of us were unable to visit our Dad’s and spend time together as families this Father’s Day.
However, that’s not the case for the Prime Minister.
Scott Morrison’s office has confirmed he was given an exemption to visit his family for the special occasion.
The PM, who is currently based at the Lodge, flew from Canberra to Sydney on Sunday before returning to the ACT on Monday.
Currently the entire state of New South Wales, excluding a select number of border postcodes, are not welcome into the ACT without an exemption with most forced to quarantine for 14 days.
