The ACT’s Emergency Services Agency is urging Canberrans to be cautious as we continue to experience a wetter than average summer.

Storm activity that moved through the region on Thursday evening saw more than 26 calls for help made to the SES, for things like minor flooding, fallen trees and leaking roofs.

It’s expected the wild weather could continue into Friday before easing slightly over the weekend.

It’s prompted a reminder from authorities for Canberrans to have a survival plan in place.

If you don’t have one, or you need to update your plan, you can find resources on the ACT ESA website.
