COVID-19 vaccine certificates are now available through the Check-In CBR App.

That comes despite proof of vaccination not currently being required in the ACT.

In the app’s latest update, you can add your digital certificate to the platform via your myGov account or Medicare app.

You’ll also be able to add the digital certificates of people you regularly check in with, including your kids.

ACT Health Minister, Rachel Stephen-Smith has assured Canberrans that the Government has no plans to introduce separate COVID restrictions based on vaccine status in settings such as hospitality.

“We heard from our community that having the option to demonstrate their vaccination status quickly and easily was an important to them.”

“While the ACT Government has no plans to make proof of vaccination mandatory across sectors such as hospitality, the new Check In CBR feature will make it easier for Canberrans to provide verification of their vaccination status if required.”

Currently, proof of vaccination is required when entering businesses in New South Wales but the Check-In CBR remains unable to scan NSW QR codes.
