A Woden man has been arrested after he was allegedly caught with drugs and weapons at a residence in Phillip, where he’s believed to have been living, in breach of his bail conditions.
Police conducted a search of the home on Thursday morning, where they located the man, drug paraphernalia, substances suspected of being cocaine, methamphetamine, and cannabis, weapons and ammunition.
The 29-year-old is currently on bail for drug and weapon offences.
He’ll now appear in the ACT Magistrates court on Friday, charged with the selling and possession of drugs, possession of weapons and ammunition and breach of bail.
Police will oppose further bail and are expected to lay further charges as investigations into the man continue.
Anyone with information of the manufacturing or dealing of illicit drugs in the ACT is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
