A 27-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly blowing more than 5 times the legal blood alcohol limit at an RBT in Dickson on Sunday night.
Police say the Moncrieff resident provided a positive reading during the random breath testing stop and was taken to the City Police Station for further analysis where she’s then alleged to have blown a reading of 0.265, more than five times the legal limit of 0.05.
Further investigations also revealed the woman, who is on bail with conditions to not drive, had a learner license that had expired back in May 2016.
The woman’s been charged with drink and unlicensed driving.
She’s due to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
