Brunch is always a good idea. Especially when the menu is tailored to suit the season.

That is where QT Canberra comes in.

They have just overhauled their Summer Brunch Menu to suit Canberrans. They’ve made it more accessible, easier to read and digest (pardon the pun) all while guiding us through a multi-step dining experience.

And that’s just the menu.

The Food is AMAZING.

You can begin with a bread basket filled with freshly baked sourdough, or some Sydney Rock Oysters with Caviar.

Starters include King Prawns, Prosciutto, Fresh Burrata and Spanner Crab.

Moving on to the main course, Executive Chef Michael Box never disappoints when it comes to a quality cut of meat on the grill. Take your pick of Rib Eye, Sirloin, or Wagyu, with details on the menu of where each cut was sourced from.

If a steak’s not your style there is plenty of other options, like cauliflower, pork lamb and swordfish.

Capitol Bar and Grill never skimps when it comes to sides, with the classic rustic fries, Dutch carrots, potato galette, Brussel sprouts and heirloom zucchini. Did we mention they also have a garden where they grow a few of their own vegies? Fresh is an understatement.

Last but certainly not least.

Dessert.

Sweet tooth’s will be overwhelmed by the dishes on offer, like Tiramisu, choux puffs, and our personal favorite, a dessert dish inspired by the nation’s capital. The ‘Canberra Mess’ consisting of Wattle Seed, vanilla meringue, macerated berries, lemon balm, and blood orange.

So if your after a special date spot, or even a place to treat you and your bestie over the warmer months, QT Canberra’s Summer Brunch is the way to go.
