Legendary Mix 106.3 Announcer and all-round nice guy Cam Sullings will be put through his paces for the Menslink Great Walk. The 5-day walk will see Cam and 29 other Canberrans trek 142 kays. That’s longer than both the Kokoda Track and the distance to the Everest Base Camp.

Cams committed to raising ten grand which will go directly to Menslink to support programs that support young men and their families in the Canberra community. Programs include volunteer mentoring, counselling, school, and workplace programs.

Cam told Kate & Nige on the Mix 106.3 Brekky Show, he’s excited to complete the challenge.

“Menslink do such an amazing job for young guys who are going through a tough time in their life.”

In preparation for the Trek Cam’s been walking around 10 kays a day. However, work is continuing for Cam while he’s on the trek. As a much sought-after host and MC, Cam will continue his work throughout the week…

“In the last couple of days, I’ve had suits pressed and delivered to the venues so I can duck in, host the event, then duck out and keep walking!”
